HYDROLYSED COLLAGEN
Hydrolyzed collagen or collagen hydrolysate is produced from natural collagen by special chemical or enzymatic processing. The natural collagen molecules are broken into smaller pieces to facilitate their penetration into the upper layers of the skin. Depending on how this ingredient is produced, its molecules are of different sizes and can affect the skin in slightly different ways.
HYDROLYSED ELASTIN
Elastin hydrolyzed - a modified form of elastin is more convenient for cosmetic products than the traditional one due to its good solubility. Elastin is made up of amino acids, including desmosins, which are unique to elastin. They bind the elastin strands together to form a strong mesh. This mesh prevents the skin from stretching and sagging, maintains turgor and elasticity, and prevents wrinkles from forming. Elastin molecules are synthesised in the skin by fibroblast cells in the dermis. As we age, the activity of fibroblasts decreases and the amount of elastin decreases. As a result, the skin begins to sag and wrinkles are formed. Daily use of preparations with hydrolysed elastin helps to stimulate the production of your own elastin.
